Comments: Green titanite (sphene) crystals on purple chromamesite (clinochlore?).

Nahcolite: NaHCO3

Comments: Massive, coarse-grained Trona from a drill core of the upper mixed-layer Saltbed. White areas are nahcolite alteration.
Location: Searles Lake, San Bernardino County, California, USA. Scale: 12 x 15 cm.

Ulexite: NaCaB5O6(OH)6·5(H2O)

Comments: Tray of fibrous Ulexite fragments which have been cut and polished perpendicular to the fibers. This shows the fiber-optic "TV stone" effect which transmit images through the fragments.
